GDA Ships 2 MW Geothermal Power Plant to Kenya
GDA has shipped the major equipment for a nominal 2 MW geothermal plant and associated components to Oserian Development Company Ltd. of Kenya. GDA designed and manufactured the plant, which utilizes an Elliott DYRPE-4 steam turbine and a Kato generator.
Oserian Development Company, which is located near Lake Naivasha, is one of the largest flower producers in Kenya and is responsible for exporting approximately 400 million flowers to Europe annually. Oserian Development Company will install the plant at their flower farm at Lake Naivasha, Kenya.
